The family that lives in this charming Oakland Craftsman was growing quickly and needed more space. We worked closely with Blue Jay Construction to find the most cost-effective solution. After exploring a basement build-out and garage annexation, the project team landed on a simple, 1-story addition to give these deserving parents the retreat they deserved. French doors open to the new brick patio while a double shower with bench enhances the charm of the primary bathroom. The kids’ room now contains two closets and plenty of space for toys, clothes, and books.
