Classic Victorian details lend warmth to this Berkeley ADU, and the roofline echoes surrounding structures to fit in with its neighbors. A lofted ceiling maximizes the feeling of spaciousness. The full kitchen includes built-in storage, while a modular wall unit groups closets, shelves and drawers on either side of the murphy bed — which leaves more open space in the room. Sconces, recessed ligthing, abundant windows, and a skylight enliven the space with warm, even light whatever the time of day.
